Am I covered for Podiatry & Orthotics?
In most cases, health insurance with extras includes podiatry. This means you will be entitled to a refund against some of your appointment costs.
Most covers that include podiatry also have orthotics included in them but a few do not.
You can check this with your insurer directly or we can do this for you using our HICAPS machine on the day of your appointment. Simply bring your insurance card with you and we’ll do the rest!
What if I’m with BUPA?
If you’re insured with BUPA, that’s great news because our Healesville office is a BUPA preferred provider. This means even more savings for you because you’ll be entitled to a lower appointment fee and increased refund!
Can I claim on the day?
As long as your cover includes podiatry, then yes you can.
We can claim your refund at all our clinics during your appointment so you will only need to pay the remaining amount (if any). Depending on your cover, you could even end up paying nothing. In any case, we’ll do our best to help you avoid having to chase your insurance provider later!
How much will I get back?
This depends entirely on your level of cover, any waiting periods and what your insurer will provide. You can contact them directly ahead of time to check if you like. But don’t worry — we’ll help ensure they rebate as much as possible.
